| CameraLink Basic Configuration |
| The Basic CameraLink configuration of the Frame Grabber HC-38 allows to connect a CameraLink camera with line locked clock frequencies of up to 85MHz.
This Grabber uses a miniPCIe slot.
Installation for Microsoft Windows 11, 10, 8, 7 und XP --Systems is provided with the help of the HC3x-CD.
The Software contains the program HCView to get live camera displays and to save single frames and sequences.
Many predefined camera formats help to connect most of the CameraLink cameras. With the help of a dialog more cameras can be defined.

Fastest memory technology buffers camera data |
HC-38 works without double buffering and uses the fastest available dual-port memory. For real-time applications
double buffering is not acceptable due to its additional delays. HC-38 allows to take the
image data immediately during the record. Data can (but must not) be analyzed without lowest possible latency.
HC-38 is the enhanced version of HC-34 / HC-35 and uses the newest 6ns dual-port memory technology and FPGAs for a maximum clock rate to use the CameraLink standard up to its speed limits.
This allows to use the next generation of CameraLink cameras, where the CameraLink Base configuration with a higher clock frequency is preferred instead of more parallel
data lines like defined in Medium or Full CameraLink configuration.
